A long road: delays and a rename
Nivalis Nights was announced back in 2021/2022 as simply Nivalis. The release slid from 2024 to 2025, then to 2026. In June 2026 the game was renamed Nivalis Nights to emphasize the city's nightlife focus, and the September 29 release date was confirmed alongside a new Release Date Trailer. Long stretches of silence led some players to doubt the game would ever ship — the September launch ends that doubt.
