Nivalis Nights Potted Plant Locations — Where to Buy Plants for Ramen Noir
Nivalis Nights Potted Plant Locations
Quick answer: Potted plants are sold by Home Furniture Retailers in three districts — Eastern Residential, Hive Mall, and Central Canyon (OFFICIAL, Patch 01.10). The main story's Ramen Noir objective asks you to add decorations and plants to your noodle bar. If Hive Mall is locked behind its achievement/tourist-pass gate, the retailers in the other two districts sell plants too.
Ramen Noir objective (OFFICIAL)
The main story asks you to class up Ramen Noir — your inherited noodle bar — by adding lights and potted plants. Lights are easy to find at furniture shops; the potted plant is the part people get stuck on.
Patch 01.10 (patch notes) added the missing detail: "Added more quest objective details for adding decorations and plants to Ramen Noir."
Where to buy — 3 official districts (OFFICIAL)
Patch 01.10 names the three districts explicitly: "Home furniture retailers at Eastern Residential, Hive Mall and Central Canyon sell them" (the decorations and plants).
| District | Confirmed retailer | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern Residential | Home Furniture Retailer | Sells plants and decorations (OFFICIAL); exact in-district location not yet verified |
| Hive Mall | Home Furniture Vendor (lower level) | Most-documented; mall gated behind an achievement/tourist-pass quest (COMMUNITY_REPORTED) |
| Central Canyon | Home Furniture Retailer | Sells plants and decorations (OFFICIAL); also the district you pass through to reach Hive Mall |
The official note does not rank them or require any one of the three — it says all three districts have a retailer selling them.
Hive Mall route (UNVERIFIED — from an independent guide)
The exact walking route to the Hive Mall vendor comes from an independent guide, not official documentation. We have not live-verified it — treat it as a lead to test, not a confirmed step:
- Reach Hive Mall by metro from Central Canyon — reported as the only way to reach the mall the first time (afterward, travel via the map menu).
- Finding the metro in Central Canyon — reported landmarks: a butcher on the side of the street; follow the street toward the furniture shop, take a left just past it, and the path down is at the back.
- Inside Hive Mall — take the ramp down near the center to the lower level, where the Home Furniture Vendor is.
If these don't match your build, fall back to the other two districts' retailers (below) — they are the official alternative.
Alternative method (OFFICIAL)
You do not have to go to Hive Mall. The official note names three districts, so Eastern Residential and Central Canyon retailers sell the same plants. If Hive Mall's achievement/tourist-pass gate is blocking you, check those two districts first — they are the official alternative, not a fallback.
Common problems
- Hive Mall locked — the mall is reported to be gated behind an achievement tied to a tourist-pass quest; interacting with vendors grants achievement points (COMMUNITY_REPORTED).
- Can't find the item in the menu — the vendor menu reportedly has no good sorting, so searching for "Potted plant" is the reliable way (COMMUNITY_REPORTED). Cactus is reported to sort separately.
- Lights vs plants — lights are easy; the potted plant is the specific item to track down.
